What should you know before starting Cry Wolf?

Original-game reference; remaster route verification pending. This page contains final-episode spoilers, including character fates and the trial. The last identity discussion is placed in a closed disclosure below. Finish In Sheep’s Clothing first if you have not reached the Crooked Man’s meeting.

There is no single dialogue sequence that makes everyone agree with Bigby. Your decisions shape how he uses power, who survives particular confrontations, and what he can defend in public. The central route still moves toward a reckoning in Fabletown. Choose the conduct you want to stand behind rather than trying to erase every objection.

How does the meeting turn into the final pursuit?

The Crooked Man tries to control the conversation and shift responsibility. Listen to the accusation against Georgie, but keep the distinction between the person who carried out an act and the person alleged to have ordered it. The meeting becomes violent, followed by an escape and pursuit involving the people leaving the scene.

Complete the displayed action prompts rather than relying on inputs from another platform’s walkthrough. You are following a narrative chase, not navigating an open-world route with a hidden faster path. The subsequent return to the Pudding and Pie gives Bigby a more direct account of the murders and of the ribbons’ significance.

What does the decision about Georgie change?

At the club, Georgie’s condition gives Bigby a choice between ending his suffering and leaving him to die. In the original route, this is not a rescue branch: he does not survive because you refuse to kill him. Choose based on how you interpret mercy, responsibility, and Bigby’s role at that moment.

Vivian’s actions explain the control exerted through the ribbons. This is why Nerissa’s earlier warnings mattered. The episode connects that magical restriction to the exploitation running through the case. It does not turn every earlier refusal to speak into a conventional lie.

How do you handle Bloody Mary and the Crooked Man?

The trail leads to the final confrontation with Bloody Mary. Follow the visual action cues through the changing fight. Her threat is part of the story’s action climax; no equipment build or upgrade tree is required to reach the resolution.

Afterward, the Crooked Man asks for a trial. Taking him back alive allows him to speak in his own defense. Killing him before the return changes what you bring before the community and what Bigby must explain. These are different situations, not two names for the same sentencing choice.

The major choices guide separates the arrest decision from the options available at the public judgment. Avoid using a late-game outcome checklist if you want the testimony and arguments to unfold naturally.

What matters during the trial and epilogue?

In the original public confrontation, the community challenges both the Crooked Man’s conduct and Bigby’s methods. Listen before answering, and distinguish evidence from an attempt to redirect blame. If the Crooked Man is alive at this stage, the resolution includes a further choice about his fate, including imprisonment rather than execution.

The closing conversations return to residents affected by the case. Toad and TJ’s situation illustrates the limits of Bigby’s promises, while TJ’s gift is a small personal decision. None of this supplies a universal approval score that declares your playthrough correct.

Show the final conversation and its unresolved question

Nerissa describes her role in drawing Bigby into the investigation. Her final words echo Faith’s earlier conversation, prompting Bigby to recall clues about identity and glamours. You can follow her or let her go. The original ending does not show a definitive answer afterward. Read the ending analysis for the distinction between explicit revelations and interpretation.

What should you check after the credits?

Review the trophy guide if you want to fill original Book of Fables gaps. Consult platform information before assuming old achievements transfer to a new edition. Gamepressure’s final choices and closing chapter support the original route described here. Remaster-specific prompts, lists, and carryover remain subject to verification.
