Which platforms are listed?

The publisher advertises PlayStation 5, Xbox, Steam, Epic Games and Nintendo Switch. Some publisher labels are inconsistent: the page title refers to Xbox Series X|S while its platform list says Xbox One. The live Xbox product page resolves this more usefully by listing Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. That is why platform-specific store information is preferable to a copied announcement banner.

Do not turn a Switch announcement into a Switch 2 native-version claim. Likewise, the PS5 listing does not establish a PS4 remaster. The older game’s availability on a system is a separate question from availability of this new edition. Our release-date page explains the date evidence.

What are the Steam PC requirements?

The following values come from the remaster’s live Steam listing, not the 2013 game’s requirement sheet.

These are the publisher’s listed targets, not independent benchmarks or a guarantee for every PC configuration. Steam did not supply a storage requirement in the API snapshot we checked, so we have not guessed a download size. Native macOS and Linux support are not listed. This page also makes no Steam Deck verification claim.

Which version should a returning player buy?

Choose based on where you want to replay, the final local price and whether the new presentation interests you. The advertised Noir Mode and extras are covered in remastered versus original. There is no verified platform-specific feature matrix here for HDR, resolution, frame-rate modes, ray tracing or controller enhancements beyond the PS5 page’s listed DualSense vibration support.

Before purchasing, look for an explicit offer if you already own the original. We have not verified a free upgrade or ownership discount. Do not assume ownership of the 2013 game adds the remaster to your library, or that buying through one PC storefront grants a copy through another.

Can you transfer saves or use cross-save?

We have not found a confirmed save-import or cross-save specification in the sources reviewed. Treat each platform as a fresh playthrough unless official support says otherwise. When planning a choice run, use our major choices guide as an original-game reference rather than evidence of save compatibility.

The same caution applies to achievements. A PC achievement list and a PlayStation trophy list are separate systems; our trophy guide documents the original game and marks remaster details as pending.

Do you need a particular platform to follow the walkthroughs?

The five episode guides focus on original narrative progression and decision points rather than button icons. Begin with Episode 1: Faith, then use the chapter links in order. Prompts and controls can differ by platform, so follow the symbols actually shown in your game.

No Fables comic knowledge is required to start. The character primer introduces the setting without disclosing the culprit.
